Carson moved to DC seven years ago from Cincinnati where he worked on air (Not on WKRP). Before Cincinnati, Carson did morning radio in Minneapolis. He grew up on a farm in Iowa and is still amazed to believe he lives in the nation’s capital. Carson is a nationally syndicated comedy writer whos’ work is heard on hundreds of radio stations around the country. He also has nearly 100 cooking videos on the web. His passions are cooking, home improvement and exercise.
Carson lives in Germantown with his wife, Kelly and his children, Will (11) and Avery (6) and three dogs named Katy, Lucy and Gizmo. He is very active in the community working with the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department and a host of charities and organizations like Children’s National Medical Center, the MS Society, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Carson’s proudest moment on air is the 2010 Children’s National Medical Center Mix for Kids Radiothon which raised nearly $425,000.
