One of my favorite TV shows is DOWNTON ABBEY...and the two-hour Season 3 premiere was last night. Don never got into the show, so I watch it by myself.

I first heard about the critically acclaimed PBS series when it started getting nominated for a bunch of awards. I didn't jump on the Downton bandwagon until Jimmy Alexander forced me to watch an episode. It's a British period drama set in the fictional country estate of Downton Abbey. The show depicts the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants in the Edwardian and post-Edwardian era — with the great events in history having an effect on their lives and on the British social hierarchy.

I decided to caught up with the first two seasons on Netflix...and I couldn't wait for last night's premiere. I'm happy to report that it was GREAT! The show is on PBS at 9pm on Sunday nights. Grab a cup of tea and sit back as you fall in love with the Crawleys like I did. :)
