3rd Annual "Salute to Excellence" Community Education Awards Luncheon, sponsored by the Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA) - Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) of the North Atlantic Region - Cluster One which will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the BWI Airport Marriott located at 1743 West Nursery Road; Linthicum, MD 21090, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.

The award recipients will represent the North Atlantic Region, Cluster I which is comprised of 16 active graduate chapters located throughout Maryland and Washington, DC. Each chapter has been asked to submit a nomination. The awards are designed to recognize and acknowledge persons in the community who have made a difference in non-traditional educational ways to create an environment where our youth can grow and evelop a love of lifetime learning. Net proceeds from the luncheon benefit the "Capture the Promise" Scholarship Fund of the EAF.
