I  hit the jackpot when it comes to marrying a great guy. My husband has countless qualities that make him an amazing man...including his insistence on making Valentine's Day special for me.

When Don and I first started dating five years ago, I told him I thought Valentine's Day was overrated. I was totally fine with not "celebrating" it. However, he said he WANTED to celebrate it. Even though he does many romantic things for me throughout the year, he still wanted to do something special on Valentine's Day. So...I stopped arguing with him about it and allowed him to do whatever his heart wanted.

This Valentine's Day started off with a thoughtful card and beautiful necklace...

Part two was waiting for me at work...

Part three was a surprise dinner at Ruth's Chris...

I was enjoying the Hershey "Kisses" on the table

The restaurant gave each woman a rose to take home. Don decided to take a photo with the rose in my mouth. I clearly wasn't ready...LOL
