National Building Museum

  • See the world through the eyes of an architect or a builder at the National Building Museum! Your child can explore their multi- artistic talents through drawing, visual arts, dance, photography, and urban planning.
  • 2 week sessions for campers entering third through fifth grade.
  • Explore the great structures of the world under the guidance of guest artists, architects, and educators.
  • Experience Washington D.C.’s public art and history. Use charcoal, terra cotta, mosaic tiles, collage, paint, Legos®, and more to produce an exhibition that explores the neighborhood’s stories, art, and architecture.
  • Create sculptures, blue prints, model cities, murals, and more all under the back drop of the Museum’s historic building, using the exhibitions as a real “learning lab” and place for exploration.
  • Each session ends with a final design project, exhibition or performance for families and friends.
