Don and I were super excited when we woke up yesterday to news that the NHL lockout was finally OVER! As season ticket holders, we were missing our Capitals. The abbreviated (48-50 game) season will kick off January 16th.

I've already got all my Caps gear ready for our first game at Verizon Center in a couple of weeks. This morning, I even started using my Caps travel mugs again when I made my coffee...

Yes, I'm sad the Redskins are out of the playoffs...but at least I've got HOCKEY to look forward to again!
