Don and I had an unexpected CELEBRITY encounter on Saturday. We were returning home after grocery shopping when we saw a little dog running around the streets of our neighborhood. I quickly jumped out of the car and grabbed him before he could run away.

When we pulled into our house, I called the phone number on the dog's tag and left a message saying we had "Oscar"...and that he was safe and sound. A little while later, Oscar's owners called...totally unaware that he had escaped from the garage as they were leaving for a lunch date. I told them to take their time. Oscar was being a good boy and we were enjoying our time with him.

About 30-minutes later, our door bell rang. It was Oscars "parents." They were thrilled to see Oscar...and a bit embarrassed about the whole thing. As I handed Oscar over to the young couple, the following conversation took place...

MAN..."You know, Oscar is famous."

ME..."Excuse me?"

MAN..."Yeah, he's a YOUTUBE celebrity. His video has over TWO MILLION hits."

ME..."Really???"

MAN..."Yeah...he's been on a bunch of TV shows too."

ME..."Wow! I need to look him up."

After they left, I ran to my computer and searched for OSCAR on YOUTUBE. Yep...this is the dog that I found running through the neighborhood. How hysterical!!
