I've jumped into a freezing lake TWICE already for a GREAT cause. Now, It's time for YOU to take the plunge. My "freezin' for a reason" journey began two years ago. I was asked to emcee the event at Lake Anne in Reston, VA.

The polar dip helps raise money for CAMP SUNSHINE, a camp that has the distinction of being the only program in the nation whose mission is to address the impact of a life threatening illness on every member of the immediate family—the ill child, the parents, and the siblings. Since its inception, Camp Sunshine has provided a retreat for over 40,500 ill children and their families.

I was very reluctant to take the plunge my first year, because the lake was actually FROZEN. However, it was one of the most rewarding things I had ever done. Below is the video from my FIRST plunge...
