AFS high school exchange is currently looking for 20 host families in the Metro DC area. All students share their host families’ everyday lives, engage in school activities and volunteer in their communities. They learn about American society and values while helping to educate others about the customs and culture of their homelands. Every year, AFS hosts more than 2,600 high school students from around the world in communities across the United States, and sends 1,800 American students to 44 countries. You can learn more about more about hosting or sending an AFS student at www.yesprograms.org , www.afs.org/usa or by emailing Chana Hays at fhays1835@aol.com (202)270-8687.
