It's that time of year again. McDonald's is advertising their SHAMROCK SHAKE for a "limited time" only...just in time for St. Patrick's Day! The other night, Don and I were watching TV when a commercial for the shamrock shake came on. I turned to Don and said "I can't wait to get one of those this weekend." He then admitted that he had NEVER tried a shamrock shake. That was about to change.

Before we headed to the Verizon Center for the hockey game on Sunday, we stopped at a McDonald's to get a shamrock shake. It was such a beautiful day, so we walked over to the steps of the Portrait Gallery and shared a shake. Thankfully, he enjoyed the minty goodness as much as I did...
