The biggest mansions in Hollywood go for millions of dollars, but when it comes to New York City, things are a lot more pricey. Jon Bon Jovi has just put his penthouse apartment on the market for a whopping $42 million bucks.
According to the Real Estalker blog, Jon bought the place in 2007 for a mere $24 million, so he's looking to make a major profit on the pad, which is located in a swanky building in New York's trendy SoHo neighborhood. Though it's an apartment, it's bigger than most mansions, with 7,452 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.
In addition, your $42 million will get you floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace, fully-landscaped roof terraces, a media room, two kitchens with custom cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances and a "great room" that's over 1,000 square feet.
According to Real Estalker, in addition to this penthouse, Jon and his wife Dorothea also own a multi-acre riverfront estate in Red Bank, New Jersey, and a house in New York's ritzy Hamptons that they bought in 2004 for 7.6 million bucks.
